Start with a sentence

The fastest way to start is to describe the piece. Type a sentence in the box on the home page, and Paraplex opens a new file and hands your sentence to the assistant, which builds a first draft with real layers, materials and motion.

The sentence box on the home page, filled in by Website hero: a looping hero of glass cards drifting over a soft gradient, and Make it

Make a first draft

  1. Go to the home page: click the Paraplex button at the left of the editor's top bar.
  2. Type what you want to make in the box under the headline, or click one of the ideas under it (What are you making?) to fill it in.
  3. Click Make it.

A new Untitled file opens at 1920 × 1080, the assistant opens, and your sentence is sent. When the assistant is done, review what it made, then click Apply to keep it or Discard to drop it. See Meet the assistant.

IdeaWhat it fills in
Launch videoA launch video for an app: the interface at work, three features, then the name and the price
Social in every formatA vertical post announcing a feature, then the same piece framed square
Data to videoAn animated bar chart of monthly growth, with the total counting up at the end
Website heroA looping hero of glass cards drifting over a soft gradient, with room for a headline

An idea never replaces words you've typed. Clicking one also brings that kind of template to the top of the page; click it again to let go.

Write a good first sentence

  • Say what it's for: a launch video, a hero for a website, a vertical post. That sets the shape of the piece.
  • Name the things in it: "three glass cards", "the headline Built to last", "a bar chart of Q1 to Q4".
  • Describe the look in materials and light: frosted glass, brushed steel, warm studio light, a soft blue-to-amber gradient.
  • Say how it moves: "drifting slowly", "fanning in one after another", "a slow push in on the headline".

The assistant uses the model and effort you last chose, Claude Opus 5.5 at Medium unless you've changed it. A bigger model gives a better first draft; see Pick a model.

Tip

Treat the first draft as a starting point. Ask for changes in the same chat ("make the cards smaller and slow the drift down"), or change things by hand. It's all ordinary layers and keyframes.

The sentence spends credits like any assistant turn. See AI credits and keys.
