Plans and credits
Paraplex has two plans. Free has every tool and every template. Pro adds finished work at full quality, exports at scale, the strongest AI models and more AI credits.
Nothing you export carries a watermark, on either plan.

You can use Paraplex for client and commercial work on both plans.
When something is part of Pro
On Free, reaching for a Pro feature opens the plans with that feature named, for example 4K video is part of Pro. Nothing is exported until you choose.
For video that's too large or too fast for Free, you can also choose Export at 1080p, 30 fps instead. Paraplex exports the same piece at the largest size Free allows, at 30 frames a second.
AI credits
The assistant and the generate tools (pictures, 3D models, rooms, voiceovers, sound, music, AI render) spend credits. One credit is one US cent of AI use.
- Each generate tool shows its price before it runs.
- An assistant turn costs what it actually used, which depends on the model and how much the assistant did.
- Your balance is in the top bar, and in your account window with the date it resets.
Your monthly credits reset on the 1st of each month. Unused credits don't roll over.
Signed out, you can try the assistant with a small daily allowance. Sign in for your own monthly credits.

Extra credits
On Pro, you can buy extra credits when the month's run out:
- Click your email at the right of the top bar to open your account window.
- Under AI credits, choose how many (1,000 to 10,000, at $10 per 1,000).
- Click Buy, and pay on the checkout page.
Paraplex spends extra credits only once your monthly credits are gone. They last a year from your last purchase.
Using your own API key
If you have your own Anthropic API key, add it in your account window. The assistant then runs on your key and uses no credits. An ElevenLabs key works the same way for voices.
Upgrade to Pro
- Click Upgrade in the top bar of the editor, or in your account menu on the home page.
- Choose Monthly or Yearly.
- Click Get Pro and pay on the checkout page.
You come back to the page you started from, where Paraplex confirms the upgrade. If you're not signed in, Paraplex asks you to sign in first.
Manage or cancel
Open your account window and click Manage subscription. From there you can change your card, switch between monthly and yearly, see your invoices, or cancel.
If you cancel, Pro stays on until the end of the period you've paid for, then you're on Free. Nothing is deleted. Projects above Free's cloud limit stay in your account, but you can't add new ones to the cloud until you're under it.
